Solid Waste (Handling) Permit
What is the purpose of this permit?
Operation of a solid waste facility (landfills, transfer station, some compost operations and recycling facilities, etc.) requires a Solid Waste Permit. These permits are issued by local health departments, and are conditioned to ensure that these facilities meet state and local laws governing solid waste.
